    NAS QNAP TS-651 - Long shot, anyone with BIOS dump?

    Hey guys.

    I have this TS-651 NAS that turns on with no activity or POST.

    These units have the Celeron clock problem, which is not the case of this unit as measured the 25MHz signal at PIN1 of LPC connector, and its fine.

    But it does not post. all coils have power when turned on.
    Does not bip without ram or any USB activity. No HDMI output.

    I tried to look for a BIOS dump for this model, but unable to find.
    Contacted QNAP support, they only accept repairing the board, they dont give BIOS files. amazing.

    I know its a long shot, but anyone with a dump for this?
    Board is same for X51 models apparently

    Board Model : QW37 rev:1.7
    Device Model : Qnap TS-651

    Any help is much appreciated!

          hey Peste!

          Do you think its possible to fix it with the original dump?

          There are 3 rom ICs on the board, so I took all 3 dumps
          Maybe useful for someone in the future, even though theres no POST
          But board turns on

              Sorry forgot to upload the 8MB main BIOS

              Here it is.
              I also got a file from QNAP support, I also upload it here in case someone needs it.

              I flashed the dump support sent me and same thing.
              Heres a pic of the clock of the LPC connector.

              Its fine right?
              Tried with pullup and pulldown 100ohm resistor, still no boot...
              Think ill give up on this unit

                  This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

                  I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                  I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:



                  I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

                  The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                  Suspected Cause:
                  I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                  Hi all,

                  My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
                  The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
                  When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
                  (I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)
