How you get option for change service tag ?
I try replace in bios part with dell update one, and get maintenence mode but no option for change service tag in my old 5070 this method works for changing service tag

Can you explain what you do "...I just removed a chunk of data from the EC region manually..." to get option change service tag ?

I recently upgraded my Optiplex 5080 SFF from i5-10 to i7-10 th and after that, on every boot I received and error showing this message: Alert! VR Heat sink not detected.

There is no problem with the bios. Similar model here - https://www.dell.com/community/en/co...e27cad9?page=2 ,bridging a wire between the 2 screw holes will work, but it is still recommended to install the heatsink.

If I post the service number can somebody help me with the bios password or do I need to upload some kind of zip aswell since I've seen other people do that?

Is a .bin file from Dell that is the same version as the bios on my PC enough or do I need to get the actual file off my chip?
