    MSI BIOS Updating

I have an MSI MS-7260 Socket AM2 motherboard. I have downloaded the manual and latest BIOS, but I note there is no BIOS flashing procedure in the manual. All newer MSI boards apparently use MFlash but that is UEFI and there is no UEFI option on the existing BIOS.

How do I update the BIOS on this board? I don't think this board supports Phenom CPUs, has anyone else done anything with this board?

    Is Core Bios project dead?

    Re: MSI BIOS Updating

The bios download from MSI will include afudos .Flash from floppy ,or use the MSIHQ Tool to make a bootable USB flasher
    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=116721.0

You havn`t mentioned which version you have PCB 1.0, 2.0, V2 or V3 .The motherboard support page will have a cpu compatibility chart

MSI MS-7260 doesn't support K10 CPU apparently. MS-7369 would have.

        Is this right ?

        MS-7369 is V2 and V3

        MS-7260 is PCB 2.0

        MS-7260-010 is PCB 1.0

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
          by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

          🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
          by macabook
          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
          🧩 Initial Issue
          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
          • External display (HDMI) shows

Need Custom BIOS (UEFI/Dualboot) for Lenovo Chromebook 100e Gen 3
          by GuiTi
          Hey everyone!
I need help with my Lenovo Chromebook 100e Gen 3.
          Here are the details:
          • Motherboard: LA-L131P
          • MFG Date: 2022/01/07
          • MTM: 82J80001BR
          • MO: MPNXB2103001
          • Factory ID: LI123

          I bought a new Winbond 25Q128FVSG chip.
The chip currently on the board is the same model but with different ending letters.
I can’t use the CH341 clip on the chip that’s on the board because it’s too low-profile and doesn’t make proper contact.

The Chromebook is Google account locked, and I’ve already tried everything.
I understand that I need to replace or...
