oki ... i will test it tomorrow...i am not by it now.

BTW i have found this on lenovo forum...maybe bios reflesh does not help becase bios is stored in emmc partition.

"The UEFI/BIOS is not totally stored in the Winbond Chip, but just a minimal part of it. In this chip there is a minimal BIOS with some interesting features such as RecoveryOtgInit, CrisisRecoveryPei, FirmwareAuthenticationPei and MmcBiosLoaderPei,... But no reference of my current BIOS version in it.
Yes "MmcBiosLoaderPei", because in fact the main part of the UEFI/BIOS is stored on a 4.2MB locked partition of the eMMC module "mmcblk1boot0".
When checking the mmcblk1boot0 dump image with UEFITool, I'm able to find inside it the reference of my BIOS version (O27KT07AUS) and references from Insyde (a well known BIOS vendor). So it's definitely the working UEFI/BIOS from Lenovo that is stored on eMMC module.
The good news is that the minimal UEFI/BIOS stored on the Winbond chip has a recovery feature available. So users with bricked Stick-300 should definitely give a shot to Insyde BIOS Recovery methods"

        serial is YF000AQ7, MO: YFN0S5710001

It automatically powers on with connected adapter (blue led light)...approx 500-600mA on power supply.
I am able to switch it off by long press button

          The bios chip is a winbond 25Q16DWSIG 2MB, its 1.8V so you`ll need to use a 1.8V adapter .

...this cannot help because major part of bios (bootloader) is stored on EMMC storage.
For full repair of this small sh*t will be needed to make full image (with all partitions) of emmc and then desolder emmc from not booting device , copy all files and then solder it back....i mean

                                Hello all,
I'm new here. Found this old-ish post by trying to recover my Lenovo IdeaCentre 300 Stick (300-01IBY Desktop - Type 90F2 S#YF00266R) after I naively updated the bios from O27KT08AUS.BIN to O27KT10A.BIN (Downloaded from here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...3-B07A93E0428C)
                                And following instructions form here:

                                https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/au/en/p...ry=BIOS%2FUEFI

Now, is stuck in a pre-boot loop... and of course is way out of warranty. I cannot believe that these lazy people at Lenovo left the corrupted Firmware available for download, when it has been YEARS that they've known that it bricks the devices...
I was going to get a Legion PC from them but not now.... Lenovo is NOT what it used to be...

Anyways, I'm wondering if some of you can guide me as to how to re-flash the original firmware. I have no concern for data-loss.

                                Thank you!

surely the bios on the website is not corrupted..who knows what happened during the update!!..you need a SPI programmer...look here a video as an example,-..

Re: Lenovo IC Stick 300 (90ER) Bios?

                                    Thank you for your answer!
I wish you were right... In my 25+ years working as an IT technician, this is the first time I brick a device (and I've played with custom OS in cellphones...) According to what I read everywhere, I am not alone. The firmware -the .bin file- is almost 6 Mby and this is way bigger than the memory in the BIOS (2 Mby) which causes the process to quit prematurely.
People who did this while under warranty, sent their device to Lenovo and got a new one. For the unlucky ones who came across this file on their servers and thought it was, well, intelligently designed, and were out of warranty, well, we just found a very powerful virus!
Thank you for the link to the video. I didn't know there was a simple tool to achieve that. I imagine a nice amount of skill is needed.
