I tried given BIOS by ala_borbe but my original bios size does not match (1024KB), with original, pc turns on, fan spins but no video, unlit screen. With this bios(2048KB), pc won't even start, presssing on button does nothing.Comment

Motherboard is now working after changing Bios chip for another one, using old bin file, 1024KB. For some reason, the given 2048KB file would not work, and after changing chips and resoldering, I didn't want to do further work.

So I was messing with the wrong chip? Glad to know, learning experience. Well, yesterday customer brought the AIO back, would briefly turn on again, then image would turn off. I did hear the Windows start-up music, so I knew data was going in, just no backlight. This AIO has an inverter, checked out good, but I smelled burning plastic, turns out there was a short on the wires going into the top lamp. PC case shows signs of a rough opening by a prior tech, metal screwdriver perhaps, probably he inserted it too far.
So it's fixed now, I just resoldered the wires back into the lamp. NOT an easy job to get into.
Lesson learned, I need to follow my nose more. Thanks to SMDFlea too.Comment

Hi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)
