SMDFlea When motherboard makers use a similar name...

gandz1234 No win key in your BIOS dump, it's a retail desktop motherboard that you buy off the shelf (not from an OEM PC), if you already activated Windows on that PC it should activate if you reinstall Windows provided you don't change hardware configuration (HWID)

Asrock H510M-HDV/M.2 SE bios dmi area from dump
            by subzerillo
            Hello.

I'm wondering how can I check and extract de dmi area from a bios backup.
I know it depends on the brand and model of the motherboard. Is there some guide that could help me understand and extract the dmi from the original bios dump to a new bios file.

            The motherboard is H510M-HDV/M.2 SE

            Attached is:
            h510m is the dump bios
h510mhms1 is the downloaded bios from the website...

Request HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 (J06) BIOS dump to restore system firmware
            by Ahari
            Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

            I...

ASUS ZenBook UX480F : need help with cleaning the ME region of my BIOS dump
            by mkdj
            Dear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:

I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
            by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

            Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

            Troubleshooting Attempts:
