    ASUS B450M-PLUS GAMING rev.1.03 BIOS

Dear community, I would like to ask for a working BIOS dump for this board. Symptom: No display with new CPU (R5 3600), can't access old CPU for tradition bios update.

Here is the original bios I saved from the ISP IC:

    Thank you!

The pins are intact on the CPU, but I managed to solve the problem by going into the bios settings and changing the PCIE1 mode from Auto to 8x8x.
This way the GPu do displays corretcly from the first PCIE slot.

This dump is 4401 version. Maybe you have problem with your graphics card, Ryzen 5 3600 dont have integrated graphics.

Anyway, you can download last version 4604 and extract binary with UEFI Tool:

Can you elaborate more on the procedure please?

        Also, If it wont help:
What else can produce this problem?
The system posted and showed display with the same config but with a R3 1200.

        Thank you!

Use UEFITool. https://github.com/LongSoft/UEFITool/releases Open CAP file with UEFITool , select: Action -> Capsule -> Extract body . By default it will name as a *.rom file, you can rename it to *.bin if you like, its the same thing. ( thanks to SMDFlea )

I reflashed the dump on the IC but still no display on screen.
I have an another GPU with a HDMI cable, I will try it.

            UPDATE:
Turns out it does post and shows display when I install the GPU to the second PCI slot.
What could be the issue with the first PCI slot?
I inspected the soldering on it under microscope, looks okay.

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                  by grimacelord
                  Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

[TUTORIAL] fix asus bios with bios from asus web support (by razor_amd)
                  by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

                  ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                  by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                  Some issues
                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                  Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...
