Hello Guys
I have a T48 programmer and i'm trying to read/write a W25Q256JVEQ chip.
The Programmer identify and propose me 2 chips:
- W25Q256JV@WSON8
- W25Q256JV(OTP)@WSON8
I have read the datachip of the chip and i don't really understand well the utility of the OTP ...
I have made some tests:
Test1: select "W25Q256JV@WSON8", read ok, modify the dump and reprogram.... Programming failed.... if i dump again, file is different from the first dump
Test2: Select " W25Q256JV(OTP)@WSON8", read ok, modifiy the dump and program back.... Programming works.... if i dump again, dump is same as injected.
The OTP file is larger, it's like if at the end of the 'nonOTC file (that finish at 01FFFFF0) you add lignes from 02000000 to 020002F0 with "FF"
Can someone explain me what is OTP for and when to use it ?
Many thanks
