I downloaded and extracted the firmware pack from Hp but there are 3 bin files for different ROM families (don't know which one to use) plus their size is bigger than 16 MB which I can't edit.

Re: Hp EliteDesk 705 G4 SFF bios required.
(Q16) is the right one. You must delete the extra data (In the Beginning & in the End), then move your DMI.
The attached file is ready now for flashing.

Re: Hp EliteDesk 705 G4 SFF bios required.
There are 2 16mb bios ics (25Q128) in ur motherboard. Look for the main bios ic and take it out. Read and save ur original bios using CH341A. If ROM family of ur bios is Q16 then download and extract the bios in post#2 for reprogramming.Comment

Hello! I also have a problem with the same PC. Please help me solve the problem too.
I bought a new Radeon RX6400 graphics card to replace the stock R7 430. I chose this card because it is low profile, low power (R7 430 - 50W, RX6400 - 55W). After installation, the PC could not turn on. The power LED lights up for a few seconds and turns off. And it repeats itself all the time. I installed a stock video card, the PC booted up as always. Installed the RX6400 - reboots again. Then I reset the Bios settings. After that, the PC began to signal an error with a power indicator - 3 long red flashes, 3 short white flashes. I installed a stock video card, the situation is the same. I checked the R7 430 and RX6400 on another computer - they work fine. But my computer doesn't work with any of the cards anymore. I tried resetting the Bios settings again, but the situation does not change.
I read the Bios firmware - I have Q19 (attached the saved firmware and the corrected Q19 firmware from the website). I tried to flash Q19 with firmware from the official website - the PC does not start. The power indicator is white. I flashed the saved firmware - it still won't start, the power indicator is white.
I bought a new Bios chip and flashed it - the PC does not start. I have no idea how to fix it anymore.Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

Thank you, kind man!
Everything is back to its original state - with any video card, the PC issues a graphics core error (three red long flashes and three white short flashes). I will continue to search for information about the malfunction. Thanks!Comment

Hello I have a problem with Hp Elitedesk 705 G4. I try to start the pc and it didn't post or boot anything and the fans were working in full speed. So after some CPU, fans , ram , ssd tests I suspect a corrupted bios.
I manage to read and save the stock file from the MX25L12873F chip, with ch314a. But now I can't program and update the chip because the file is slightly larger and also it doesn't contain the pc information (name, s/n etc).
Pc details:
Name: HP Elitedesk 705 G4 MT. Ryzen 5 2400g.
Product number: 3AB55AV
Serial number: CZC932CMJD
I provide you the backup file from bios read and the 3 files from the sp155445.exe (bios file that HP gives for my serial number). With the HxD I found the Q06 reference in hex, maybe that helps.
Can you help me to get a right bios file for programming ?Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight

by BrentH561Hello everyone, I am looking for help to make sure I am on the right track to remove lost BIOS Admin password on an HP EliteDesk G6 800 SFF. I recently purchased this on ebay and the seller is willing to accept a return but I have already installed my new HDs, NVME, and setup proxmox so I would like to keep it.

Hello guys,
I stupidly tried to read out my BIOS & EC flash (with a clamp). This didn't work, I only read FF's. But after this operation, the PC is not longer turning on, just beeps 5 times (and blinks red) then 2 times (blinks white). The manual says this is the error code for: "The embedded controller cannot find valid firmware.".
I think it locked itself because of my experiment. Is this fixable? I now removed both chips from the board and dumped them, I attach the files in this post hoping someone can help me fix my stupid error. Thanks so much in advance anyone...-

by brispussPurchased a Ryobi 36V 6Ah battery pack maybe just over a year ago.
Battery pack had been used on about 3 or 4 occasions for powering a cordless lawnmower. I was wanting to use this battery pack again recently, but on checking the battery charge state via the battery pack test button, there was no LED indication at all of charge state which suggested the pack was fully discharged.
I found this to be odd as I usually fully recharge battery packs shortly after use. So either the pack developed some sort of fault which completely discharged the pack cells (after recharging),... - Loading...
