bump. I found a BIOS from another thread with the same motherboard model and tried cleaning the ME and copying the DMI from the original BIOS but now the SATA SSD isn't being detected and it still shows the model/SN of the BIOS I downloaded from another thread.Comment

Hello all,
I'm trying desperately to revive a ThinkStation P720 that I purchased from a seller who claims it suffered a "failed firmware update."
When given power, the machine turns on, spins up fans, beeps a single time, fans slow down, then a beep code is sounded repeatedly (3 high/short tones, 1 low/long tone).

Things I have tried:
1. Reseated all components, pulled everything except for 2 RAM modules (1 per CPU)
2. Attempted to boot with just a single CPU... -

that was power cycling, white light on power led turning on and off, fan spinning on and off (the same problem dicky96 had, watch the youtube channel).
Some voltages were present.
I tried downloading and flashing clean bios cscn17ww.bin from post 72 from peste from thread " lenovo IdeaPad S145 bios needed
After the flash i got all voltages except... -
