    nVIDIA GeForce 6600LE AGP 125C caps

    Just got this video card, has one bulged electrolytic. The caps are EVERCON and are marked 125C. Can I just use 105C caps of a better spec, like Rubycons MBZ?

    The other caps are solids. I will post a photo tonight. Just questioning whether the 125C rating on these caps is valid/necessary

      Sacon = GSC = Evercon = crap³

      replace them with quality 105°C caps..
      125°C rated evercons... lol... reminds me of the bogus PMPO watt ratings of cheapo crap speakers

        Here's the pics. You can see the Evercon 125C, also the solid caps. How to tell if the solids are good maker? Yes the retaining clip broke in transit. I'll pull one off another card.

          Can't tell what those other caps are but they are NOT solid caps. The + vent stamp gives it away.
          I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

          No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

            the logo on those surface mount caps looks like nichicon

            replace all evercon crapcaps and you should be good to go..

              Followup:

              I replaced the Evercon 125C caps with Rubycon MBZ (1500 6.3v) and Panasonic FM (470 16V).

              Card works perfectly - using it right now.

              Yes, the other caps are surface mounts, not solids. Thanks to all!
