Asus strix rtx 2070 oc 8gb black screen and no detect

Hello, I have an 8gb asus strix rtx 2070 oc card which works perfectly but if I do a test with furmark or similar the screen goes black and stops being detected.

If I restart immediately the card works again but sometimes it does not reach the desktop and other times yes, it seems that it fails when it is hot

The temperatures are correct, I have also checked the memory chips and they are all good (I have used nvidia mats tool)

It usually fails between 45 degrees and 60 degrees, randomly

I got a Palit rtx 2070, and I got the same issue. I did the mats test and its a pass.
I have undercloked the GPU by 100MHz, and I have played games without any issues for hours. But when I closed the game, the screen went black and had to restart the PC.
It happens at around 60 degree. I also got artefacts with that "XD" things, when running stock clock.
So maybe at 60 degree the solder connections are getting bad, or bad memory or something.

Today I have continued to do tests and after getting a newer version of the memory diagnostic tool I have seen that it gives me errors in three vram modules, then I replaced two of them but when I do the vram test again the same thing continues to appear number of errors

After all of the above, I did a reflow of the GPU thinking that it may be a bad contact with the PCB, but the errors remain exactly the same, the number of errors does not change.

I have done few more tests and I got a one module with errors.
Will try to replace it and will see what will happen.
Best place to get a D9WCW memory ? Aliexpress ?

Hello again, after a lot of checking and redoing the vram tests, now the previous vrams do not give me errors, but the first vram modules are giving me an error.

The curious thing is that in the previous tests the number of errors is 288 and now it is the same number of errors again but with other modules, I don't know what else to try or what else to do.

Have you tried downclocking the GPU by 100Mhz ?

Have you checked the data lane in diode mode?
On a pcie it will be the 14 and 15 pin from the left.
It should read 0.4v

yes the voltage is correct

if your errors is shifting it is bad soldering under GPU
