    GX270 Substitute cap values?

This GX270 I have has 9 6.3v 1800uf 8x20mm caps all along the cpu and I have on hand a bunch of 6.3v 1500uf 8x20mm Rubycon MCZ caps. Will these work? or do I HAVE TO use 1800uf?

I already plan on using them to replace the 1500uf 10x12.5mm ones around the ram slots.

    Let me know please, thanks!

    !!!!!!!!!! EDIT !!!!!!!!!

OK hold up, I'm an idiot. I had my values all messed up.

    Correction:

The ones along the cpu are 1800uf, I have on hand a bunch of 6.3v 1800uf 8x20mm Rubycon MCZ caps, can I use these to replace the five 6.3v 1500uf 10x12.5mm ones around the ram slots???? I've read I can use 10v 1500uf, but have all these 1800uf and would like to use them if I could.

Yeah that shouldn't be a problem, as long as the fact that they're physically taller won't cause issues.

Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
        by proxneo
        Dear reader

I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

        3 x 470uF 10VDC
        3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
        4 x 47uF 50VDC
        8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
        1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
        5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

        Which...

Different (lower) resistor values on PCB?
        by Kobok
        Dear Alls,
For sure it id a stupid question, but help me to understand. I am in a Dell 2007WFP revitalizing project - searching reason why not starting. Some resistors needed to replaced is is obvious. When I have soldered some resistors the measured (with multimeter) values were sometimes rather different written on them. I supposed these are wrong units so I desoldered and made a checking measurement and voilá the values is the same is written on. This happens only in case of a few resistors, most have the same values (+/- 10%) are written on it. "strange" SMD resistors =>103...

Here some measurements on HP Victus 16-d0500la, it might help someone, the values are on diode mode->mV and some lower ones on Resistance->Ω.

How to choose a substitute mainboard
        by learnmore
        Hello again Community

Anyone verse on how you go about choosing a substitute mainboard for your TV repair. Like the chap in the video below sometimes a 1:1 replacement board is too expensive and reballing a mainchip(s) maybe outside of your skillset . In the video the poster states one needs to match the replacement board with the SMPS, T-con (if not built in) and panel (and substitute cabling be also be required).

I'm very interested in choosing a suitable replacement board for any model or make of TV and the general (or detailed if your willing) step this entails....
