Dell AIO 7440 having "popping" sound after motherboard change

Hi, does anyone know what could be the reason for 'popping' sound during windows start (while window icon showing)? I just replaced a broken motherboard and the sound start happening.

Windows starts ok. No noise afterword. But the start up popping sound is scary to me. Not sure if it's safe to use my PC. I've attached the video of the internal of the PC during start up and the sound. thanks.

Sounds like a mechanical knocking sound. Could it be from the fan cooling area? Was that area reworked?

The fan was taken out and restored in order to put the motherboard in. I couldn't see anything wrong in that area though.

The Funny thing is it always “pop” exactly 20 secs after power on.

Is there a possibility of some debris inside the fan blades. The noise may be when this fan kicks on?

We had this scare on an imac thinking that sparks were flying out of the power supply circuit but instead was some tiny particle bouncing around the impellers.

Could the sound be from the speakers? Try to mute the speakers are attach a headset to mute this possibility.

Asus ROG Strix Scar G533qm with a G733qm Motherboard, can I modify the Bios to accept G533 Bios
          by glovecaps
          Hello,

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.

My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this...

Legion Y540 17irh motherboard issue ( need help to know how to diagnose my motherboard)
          by Docus
          Hi everyone 😀,

I'm here today to ask for help with repairing the motherboard of a Lenovo Legion Y540 17IRH.

To give you some context, I'm passionate about computer repair so much so that I've invested in a lot of tools and started practicing on dead and old hardware. I've been learning how to solder and desolder components, mostly focusing on phone repairs.

Recently, I bought a broken Lenovo Legion Y540 17IRH for just €150, and there are two main reasons why I made this purchase:
          1. I already own the exact same model, but its plastic chassis is badly damaged.

Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB (Chassis SR) TV Repair Help - Distorted Subwoofer Sound and overall weird sound waveforms
          by LEECH666
          Good day ladies and gentleman!

I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...

Marantz SR5012 popping and other sound issues
          by acedogblast
Hello I have a Marantz SR5012 7.1 AV receiver that is producing speaker pop and other sound issues. These sounds are coming out of all connected speakers regardless if they are configured to be used. The rca preouts are clean from these defects so I am assuming the problem has to be with the amplifier.
These sound issues are random and unpredictable. There are times where the unit can go 10 minutes without any problems then suddenly the problems come back. It doesn't seem to matter if there is sound being played or not.

I have disassembled the unit and was able to take out the...
