    Recapping a ASUS P5N-EM HDMI

A while back I picked up a "display" ASUS P5N-EM HDMI from a local shop. I was in a hurry and didn't notice until installing the board that nearly all of the 21 680uF@6.3V caps were domed. (Panasonic FJ's BTW) So I knew a recap wasn't far off

The board has been relatively stable with occasional failures upon reboot. This week it wouldn't recognize the HD tuner in the last PCI slot and became unstable with the tuner installed. So it's finally time to recap... I'm waiting on delivery of the rubycon replacements.

I do have one question though, there are 2 empty spots for caps between the PCI slots. Is there any risk/benefit to populating those spots while I have the board out?

I haven't ever seen a domed FJ, but slightly domed FJS seems to be par for the course on Asus mobos. FJS rarely ever vents though, so it's probably ok unless its in a critical location like Vcore or similar.
