Need help identifying a component. Supermicro X9DRL-iF

Sorry this isn't exactly cap related but I don't know where else to ask. I have a Supermicro X9DRL-iF board and the customer told me that a bad power supply caused these components to blow after he tried a 2nd identical board and the same components blew.

I need your guy's help, can anyone tell me what these components are called? and where can I find replacements? He would like to get both boards working again. I can't see any markings on them, and I haven't desoldered them yet. I will probably desolder two good ones from the other board just to see if it will even work and worth pursuing.

    Thanks in advance!

    They are ceramic capacitors

Thanks, is there a way to find out their values so I know what to look for?

The ic's appear to be ISL6627CRZ, but the data sheet does'nt show the cap values.
If you can't find the value, remove one of the good ones and check its capacity, I suspect the voltage rating will be low, 10 volts?

Also check if the caps are connected to the CPU VRM low side (CPU V_core, which is usually 1.x volts) or high side (typically 12V). This will matter for choosing the voltage rating of the caps - for the high side (12V), a rating of 25V or more is recommended. For the low side, 4V or more would be needed.

Probably best to remove one and check the capacitance (if you have a capacitance meter, that is). Otherwise, going by what voltage rail the caps are connected to, I find that high-side ceramic caps are typically 4.7 uF and low-side caps vary between 4.7 uF to 20 uF, depending on size and count.

Thanks for the info guys. Can anyone recommend a cheap but adequate LCR or capacitance meter? I found this on Amazon...

            https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WNNYQT...1WNNYQT5497854

Will it do what is needed?

            Thanks

For the price, I think that seems to be a pretty reasonable product, considering it's a dedicated LCR meter. Only downfall is that it only goes to 2000 uF, and lowest inductance scale is 200 uH. But not too bad.

For the small ceramic caps talked about in this thread, this should work fine.

On the other hand, I can't also help but also recommend one of those cheap "component/transistor testers" from eBay and AliExpress (typically $15 or less with free S&H). The nice thing about them is that they can measure ESR on capacitors as well - very helpful for testing electrolytic caps. They also offer higher range for the capacitance (I think 20000 uF, if not more). As for inductance, IIRC mine couldn't measure below 5 or 10 uH. So, similar to the LCR meter above, the low-range on the inductance isn't that great. But you do get transistor test functions as well.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Assistance with identifying resistor value on 820-02918 A2992 board?
                by ugamazing
Working on a 2023 M3 A2992 unit with 820-02918 board, and it uses a new USB-C power architecture, with rectangular controllers. I do not have a perfect-matching board, so have been repairing this one the old-fashioned way (slowly).

I managed to blow-away a single resistor that I can't find and can't determine the value of. It connects to ground, so I went ahead and stuffed it with a 100K resistor in case it's a simple pull-up. But, I'm now having issues with that side of the board, and am curious if it's possibly related to this resistor! I have no schematics and no board view, so...

Got in way over my head with Supermicro server board and upgrade.
                by FeerBaron
Last year I bought a server. It's worked fairly well but had some issues. Some pcie slots didn't work and Xeon v4 is a bit slow and missing AVX 512. Came to realize that the next version up, with skylake uses mostly the same chassis.

A board popped up on ebay one day being sold for parts. A working board like this is over a grand at best. This particular one was about $125 and I decided to gamble.

At first it seemed simple enough. According to the description it looked like some mechanical damage.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
                by Hakuu
                Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

                More Details
