    Ecs P4vxmd

    Hello,

I just received a few P4 boards and the ECS P4VXMD has faulty capacitors. Nine (all) of the OST 6.3v 3300uF capacitors on the board are either bulging or already leaking on the top.

I'll fix the board someday since I'm not planning to use it anytime soon... unless someone has a spare socket478 P4 CPU they wanna give away .

Here a link to the board's site for further info ECS P4VXMD

    Enjoy

Not sure if it's true or not, but I'm lead to believe the ECS/PCC is using capacitors made by companies that are somehow related to their parent company, PouChen group...same guys that make your Nike shoes...

My PCC/ECS boards have OST or GLuxons on them...

    Just a thought..

MacBook Pro (15' A1990) CPU overload on graphics switching
      by lizzie24
My CPU is going crazy anytime I try to connect my external monitor or play a game. The CPU also goes crazy (from under 1% to 70%) when I turn off automatic graphic switching. Here's where it all went wrong. I decided I should open up my MacBook Pro (15' A1990) and get the dust out since it had been running hot anytime I was gaming. I blew out the fans and they did look really dusty. Not a lot of dust came out though so I'm wondering if it didn't get all caught up underneath the board. But…. This is the stupid part… I was going to just pop out the fans and clean them until I realized how much...

      by Lexsmash85
Hi, I'm Alex from California,I'm a musician and gamer.

So, i have a Lenovo legion y540 15irh (81sx). 9th gen i7 ... It originally was on windows 10 when i got it, and apparently the bios boot mode was set to legacy mode.

Well, a few years after warranry ended, and apparently Lenovo recently ended service and updates for this, my keyboard randomly stopped working, but intermittently,

Refreshing windows 10 didnt help. I managed to safely change over the boot mode from legecy to UEFI, i updated to windows 11, but keyboard issues continued.

      It would...

HP 11 Stream laptop DAYOHGMB6C1 REV:C doesn't show video at all!
      by alro7779
      Hello, there!

The problem with this laptop is that it does not show video at all, even if I connect an external HDMI screen device to its port.
I got it disassembled, and first of all it does have its VDC in (19.81). I checked the 5 inductors having the charger plugged in, and the voltage readings are:

TURNED OFF (without pressing the power button)
      1: 9.07 VDC
      2 to 5: 0 VDC
TURNED ON (after pressing the power button)
      1: 9.04 VDC
      2: 1.203 VDC
      3: 0.813 VDC
      4: 3.403 VDC
      5: 5.133 VDC

      I'm not quite sure if...

      HP 11 Stream DAYOHGMB6C1 REV:C need schematic!
      by alro7779
      Hello, there!

I have this HP 11 Stream laptop with the printed model on the back totally unreadable. I'm looking for the schematic since there's a problem with the video. The model on the main board is:
      DAYOHGMB6C1 REV:C
I'll create a new post describing the problem I have with that laptop so you can help me to fix it. OK?

      Thanks in advance!
      Alex.
