    ABIT NF-M2S Windows 8 Lan Driver Problem

    My son loaded my wife's PC with Windows 8.1. All was well for a week or so, but now the Ethernet has become very unreliable. Sometimes is finds the wired network, most times not.

    I loaded Linux Mint 13, and the ethernet is perfect.

    So I'm thinking this is a driver issue(?).

    According to "hardinfo" the Lan is:

    Ethernet controller Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8110SC/8169SC Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10).

    Trouble is I can't find the Driver on Realtek's site and ABIT is no longer around.

    I guess I could try a wireless adapter and see if that works.

    Any ideas appreciated!

              I have a problem with windows activation. The laptop has the original version of windows 8 included by the manufacturer. The laptop worked on the original activated key for several years. Recently I wanted to try to see if I could still upgrade to windows 10 (it was a mistake). Of course, the time to upgrade to windows 10 has long since ended and my key was rejected.               Hello all am trying to reinstall my AMCAP Microscope on windows 10 but it is not working anymore. But the cam and the drivers are present in the Device Manager but there it saysWindows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) the drivers is : gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver and i also get this mesage: Windows found driver software for your device but encou​ntered an error.
              but it is quite strange because it did work on this same OS for one week ago and even for sometimes ago on that same but now nix.
              any help?

              Hello everyone, I wish you a happy day.

              I have a Dell Latitude 7480 laptop that has a problem with freezing during the Windows loading process. If it manages to boot up, it becomes very slow and doesn't load anything from the desktop.

              I’d appreciate some very basic advice on CH341x programmers. I know this topic comes up from time to time, but stuff changes, so I hope a refresh is in order. In particular, I see some unexpected things happening with jumper positions.

              [My plan is to learn to read and write 24CO2 EEPROMs via I2C. The first target is the one in my Uni-T clamp meter, but before tackling that I have some brand-new EEPROMs to practice on.]
