Replacement for 8mm diameter CapXon KF series

I need to replace some CapXon KF series capacitors which are 8mm in diameter on an Antec BP500U PSU. I believe Nichicon HE is the closest electrical equivalent, but they don't come in 8mm diameter. I'm afraid to use HM because I don't want to increase ripple.

Are there any good caps that cross to the KF series that are 8mm diameter for 1000uF 16V?

I suppose I could use 10mm caps if the leads are long enough, they would have to be suspended above the other components because they wouldn't fit where the original caps used to be. I noticed the secondary caps are pretty well gooped and glued to prevent vibration, would suspending the caps high above the pcb result in a lot of annoying whining/squealing noises?

    Yes,

Here are some series suitable for PSUs that have that cap in 8mm:

    Rubycon ZLH
    Panasonic FR
    UCC KZH
    UCC KZM
    Nichicon HV

I wouldn't elevate the caps off the PCB. You're right not to use HM class caps for this application.

They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

Thanks! I think I'll go for the Panasonic FR. 9000hrs@105C.

Yeah, I've read that cap leads should be kept short as possible due to inductance.
