Asus TUF Gaming Z590-plus Wifi, Bios chip(s)

    Hello,

Recently got a parts motherboard of the above make and model. The board is missing both of the bios chips but has no other (visible) issues. I'm having a pretty hard time figuring out the specific model of the chip pair. While it is quite likely that the board is dead regardless (why would you de-solder both bios chips on a good board?), taking this as an exercise I would still like to try getting the bios chip part sorted. It is obvious that the chips are from GigaDevice, but I'm quite lost after that. Attached is the information I'm currently working with. Are there upcoming issues or other notable things I should be mindful of if/when I get the right chips? Should I be expecting to do more than get the chips, program the proper bios on them and solder them back? Any help highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Can you take a photo of your board showing the position of the chip? you might need to dump the program from a known working board and flash it to the new chip.

Thank you for the reply, but I'm in the desperate need for the chip model(s) and expect to be good after that, i.e. getting the bios is atm a minor issue in my eyes. Click image for larger version Name:	X.jpg Views:	4 Size:	1.29 MB ID:	3163110

Hi, sorry for the reply years later but the reply you got is very wrong, the chips mentioned make up a 38 megabyte image when this motherboard is a 24 megabyte. the chips are: left (closer to the PCIe x1 slot) - WinBond 25Q64JVSIQ; right (closer to the PCH) - GigaDevice 25B127DSIG

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
                by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

                ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                Some issues
                A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                Things I tried

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING — Board not powering on properly
                by ShadowAi12
                Hi,
I recently bought an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING motherboard that was listed as "dead, not powering on." However, it does show some signs of life. I've performed several basic measurements and would like to share the results.
                • The board enters a "ready to power on" state after plugging in the PSU.
                • Pressing the power button increases power draw.
                • Sometimes, touching the RSMRST_L pad with a multimeter probe causes the board to shut off and return to standby.
                Measurements:
(taken after pressing the power button, while the board is attempting to start)

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...
