RX 6900 XT ED Black screen, audio continues, then crashes and fans go 100%

    Hi there,

i think this could be an interesant case, got a RX 6900 XT limited edition Sapphire Toxic Liquid Cooled, i went out for a week and when i came back my graphics card was doing some weird sh¨t.

I can use it for basics tasks, but when i run something that requieres heavy GPU power the screen goes black, audio keeps on, radiator fan at 100% then 5-10 seconds later it shuts down.

Ok, then some weird stuff again, next time i power on it says "USB DEVICE OVER CURRENT STATUS, PC WILL SHUT DOWN IN 15 SECS"... it must be a related condition, i can boot again switching off/on the PSU.

    Ok, i ran OCCT in order to see the "last known status" so here it is;

    TEMPERATURES:
    GPU TEMP 57 C
GPU MEMORY JUNCTION TEMP 51.32 C
GPU HOT SPOT TEMP 67 C

    VOLTAJES:
    GPU CORE VOLTAGE VDDCR_GFX: 0.600 V
GPU MEMORY VOLTAGE VDDIO: 1.254 V
    GPU VDDCR_SOC: 0.846 V
    GPU MEMORY VOLTAGE VDDCI_MEM: 0.679

    Any ideas?

RTX3090 working fine but fans not spinning
    by emil_t
Hello guys. I have a problem with a PNY XLR8 GAMING RTX3090 graphics card. The problem is that it displays and works fine, but the fans don't spin at all. The problem occurred when someone else removed the fans in order to clean it and broke one of the fan connectors. He replaced it himself and after that, it wasn't working anymore. I guess he damaged something else in the process. What i have done so far: I found 2 capacitors next to the connector that were in a bad shape, he must have touched them with his tools - they weren't shorted, but i replaced them with similar ones from a similar card....

XPS 9570 High Temp GPU crashes - possible damage?
    by Th3Guardian
    Hey guys,

Have a slight issue, my laptop (XPS 9570) experienced several crashes after I forgot to connect the gpu fan header after replacing thermal paste

Was in a game, noticed several crashes, turned OC off, crashing gone but gpu temps were super high, restarted laptop, DELL thing automatic mode started, said gpu fan off,

Connected the header, crashing gone but now OC gone, crashes above a certain threshold,

Could something have gotten damaged? I fear that something could have gotten damaged in the chip in the power delivery, no idea...

Hot Water Rad - A Few ECU Fans and a Timer Switch

    Good Afternoon, Good People.

I know this will be an elementary little project for most if not all of you, but I thought I would write a post and get put on track, rather than bumbling my way through it with all kinds of trials and errors.

I REALLY would appreciate y'alls help.

This is the problem - My wife and I purchased a big ol Victorian/Colonial House in NYC two years ago. The kitchen is surrounded on 3 sides by exterior walls, there is also a 1/4 of the kitchen floor (ceramic tiles) that has a crawl space underneath, and the kitchen gets FREEZING cold...

MSI MAG Z390 Tomahawk BIOS temp, allways at 0ºC and CPU goes protection 800Mhz
    by foshland
Hi to all, my motherboard (bought second hand as faulty, but now working after cleaning the ram slots) have a strange failure that shows 0 Celsius degrees in BIOS, because of that, the CPU goes to protection mode and gets stuck at 800Mhz.

Since its a 8-9 Intel generation, I know the CPU temp is the hottest temp of the cores (as i have read in intels documentation) so its not a diode or sensor on the board.

External temperature (motherboard temp) is working OK, 27ºC more or less

In windows, all the software I have tested shows correct the Core temps
