    Hey everyone,
I'm new here and wanted to ask about making a backup copy of the BIOS before updating it. I searched online and found that I need FPT for this.
My processor is an i5-1135G7, which means my platform is Tigerlake, and I need the CSME 16.0.15.1735.
I checked out WinRaid, but there's no archive that fits my needs.

Any help would be much appreciated! Ty

There are more links in the posts, look carefully.
Any 16... version will be fine. BTW the CSME version is related to the chipset, not the processor.
The file you need is fptw64.exe, run it from command line with admin rights, for argument run it with -h or /? (not sure which works) option to see the usage.
If bios is protected from reading in descriptor region, then you might need a hw programmer, but usually it is not.

        Hey there,

I tried version 15 and it worked for me. I created a backup of my system with the fptw64.exe you mentioned and it worked. I also created another backup with afuwinx64.exe, but I'm not sure if they're both correct.

I've created a new thread under "BIOS Requests ONLY!" to sort this out. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ea?view=thread

Can you take a look at it and let me know if the .bin and .rom files are correct (and if the supervisor pw can be decrypted)?
