FIT/CSME Tool (Flash Image Tool) - Trusted Download Location?

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a trusted source from where the FIT tool can be downloaded from? That is the latest version and archived versions if possible.

    Thanks

      Hi DynaxSC,

Thanks for your response, much appreciated.

I also stumbled upon a link providing the v16.0 version of the CSME Tool, similar thread on the WinRAID forums - WinRAID seems to be the place for downloadable content.

Open the bios with ME Analyzer first to check the firmware version. The 1040 G8 has CSME 15 firmware. You must use ME 15 firmware and FIT 15 tools

          .

Thanks for the reply, but I meant any other version besides these two.

I see that on the Internet there are links to:
Intel CSME System Tools v13.0 r1 -> Flash Image Tool 13.0.??.????
Intel CSME System Tools v13.0 r4 -> Flash Image Tool 13.0.??.????
Intel CSME System Tools v13.0 r6 -> Flash Image Tool 13.0.??.????
but none of the links work. Maybe someone has other versions besides v13.0 r2 or v13.0 r7

If you are brave enough, here another good download source on an russian site:

                    https://xeon-e5450.ru/soft/intel-me-system-tools/

Click image for larger version Name:	obraz.png Views:	0 Size:	460.8 KB ID:	3291208

                    It'a one file all inclusive.
I used it, and so far I and my PC still are alive.

And a further one, also russian:

This is my first attempt to use FIT to clean a BIOS.
I built and ran ME Analyzer v1.307.0 r359.
I downloaded 15.0.35.1951_CON_LP_B_PRD_EXTR_4D29C2A9.bin, and renamed it as "ME Region.bin".
I downloaded FIT 15.0.30.1716, but it says it can't open my BIOS image file.
I think I need to download FIT 15.0.35. But I just can't find a link to it on the winraid site or the mega site.

                          ME Analyzer output:

From version 12 onwards the firmware should be named "ME Sub Partition.bin" ,without the quotes.

In which directory should I place this ME bin file? The same directory as the BIOS dump bin file that I open with FIT?

                              Thanks for answering newbie questions.

I copied my BIOS dump file NP950XDB-BAD-GD25R127D.BIN and ME Sub Partition.bin into the FIT WIN32 directory, and ran FIT:
