    ADSL Modem DSL-300G

Lately I've been having a hard time to log on, no one in the neighbourhood had any problem so I decided that the fault was at my place.
A quick check under the hood showed a bulged TEAPO35V/220uF replaced it and now I go faster than ever

good job! routers/modems are usually full of badcaps. not only that though their temperatures are incredibly high.

      Thank's!
Yes they are running real hot inside, there is not much air that pass inside the box, I think it is a common problem with D-link Friend of mine mounted a small fan on top of the cover and got rid of all problems their mains adapters are also prone to fail

That's quite interesting! I think I might open my modem when my caps arrive and see if any in there need replacing or anything

it is no problem to recap if you find some bad ones. routers, switches etc, it is much easier than motherboards.

Our Billion ADSL Modem/Firewall Router contains Teapo SEK series and one Hermei HV series (3300uF 25V) unit; none of them were bulging since the modem was working for two years, despite running a bit hot.

No wonder they fail now and then these modemes run real hot.
Have looked in to several of D-links modems but this is actually the first time I've found a bulging cap, seems that better airflow cure many of their problems. Just by open the top cover of my D-link router all shut down problems in my network stopped

Lenovo T440s 1802 WWAN modem error
                by rbvndonh
                Hello,

I had factory installed Ericcson modem. It was working, but later was changed into Dell 4G modem. It was working good.
Now, after BIOS repair (to the same which was rapaired in past in this machine) it shows 1802 error.

Does somebody have whitelist or know how to correct it or proper no-1802 tool or solution for this board?

                Thank you

Dell Precision 7710 no M.2 Wifi AND LTE modem
                by TheQuentincc
                Hi,
I have an issue with a 7710 motherboard, nor Wifi card/slot (8260AC and 3160AC) and LTE modem/slot (EM7455) are detected in bios/OS, the strange thing is that the wifi card is a wifi/bt combo and the BT is recognized in bios and working.
Since BT is working I think the power for these card is present, I already tried a few bios for the motherboard (asked on another thread) but only one is working, I got the board with a bricked bios and it's not a thunderbolt version.

I believe there is either a signal that disable the M.2 slot (all enabled in bios) or wireless...

                Cooker Hood Repair
                by Thunderace7
                Hi.
I've been repairing a cooker hood for my daughter and, although I have got it working, I am puzzled by a couple of things.
I have attached the circuit diagram I made from studying the PCB. It is a bit rudimentary but it served its purpose.
There is a buzzer, driven by output P0.0 of the processor, and the circuit seems to be a bit strange. The buzzer seems to be continually powered by 12 volts but is short circuited by the driver transistor. Any idea why this should be? I have checked the PCB several times and this is definitely how it is wired.
                The second thing...
