    AOC I2080SW Screen flickering.

    Hello guys,
I have this AOC i2080sw 19.5 inch VA monitor, I really like this monitor apart from the fact that it has flickering issue. It's still a bit too good to be thrown away but the flickering issue is hard to ignore at the same time.

I have opened it and fiddled around with it. I have confirmed that :

    1. The problem is not a TAB error issue (atleast I don't think it is, I tried pressing down the cables, nothing changed)
    2. It's not a mainboard issue as I have tried another mainboard from a BenQ monitor but same issue.
    3. That leaves out only the LCD panel board as the potential cause of the issue.

But I have no idea how to fix it or where to start. Would be glad if anyone can help. Thanks.

Edit : Forgot to add a video of it.

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54. displays on the external monitor and works fine, the issue is NO display on the internal screen
    by DqMagetz
    Good day!
I have a customer's laptop — Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54 (EH5VF - LA-H501P). It has a display on the external monitor and it's working fine, but the issue is NO display on the internal screen. I already replaced the eDP cable and checked the LCD connector pins.

    Here are the voltage readings:
    • Input – 19V (stable)
    • +LCDVDD – 3.3V briefly, then drops to 0V
    • EDP_HPD – 3.3V briefly, then drops to 0V
    • PCH_BKL_PWM – 2.2–5V briefly, then drops to 0V
    • EC BKOFF# – 1.8V briefly, then drops to 0V
    • PANEL_OD_EN – 0.3V

Is it possible that the EC chip is corrupted or damag...

DA0ZPVMBAD0 rev d Mainboard - blank screen issue
    by harshana
I have the DA0ZPVMBAD0 rev d logic board and it doesn't boot up. I see all the voltages are okay. So I suspect the issue is bios.

When I power on with fn+ esc the blue light start blinking on mainboard.

I guess its a good sign. As all the voltages are okay and also charging indicates orange light when battery connected, I think it confirm that the EC bios is okay. So I ignored the ec and flashed main bios with 32mb bin file provided in the link below. But the condition is same.

AOC U34G3XM, new monitor, black screen with backlight on, possible shortcircuit during dissassembly
    by turmix
Hello, I'm working on a new deskmod pc project and have a problem with my monitor, an AOC U34G3XM, well, I may have bricked it.

The monitor was dismanteled and the separate parts parts integrated in the desk. the screen panel alone is on the upper part, and main board/video board + power board on the back of the desk (not enough place on the cover to fit it)
At first everything was working smoothly, then I decided to change the connexion between the video board and the screen for a longer one. Still working fine

During another reassembly, I made a mistake, and...

ACER BM320 Monitor - Horizonal Flickering Lines After a While
    by reessi
    Hello,

The monitor started off showing flickering thin (1 pixel) lines horizontally every say 3mm..

They are black on the right and gradually fade to nothing on the far left.
They start either after 5 mins or up to 2 hours after so annoying for testing.
They flicker continuously very fast! With a slight pause milli-second every second.

Initially I cleaned the LVDS cable and connected to the T-Con and then it worked fine for 3 weeks but not sure if this was just co-incidence.

I tested each half by removing the first the left flex from...

    Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a BIOS-related issue with my Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100. When I power on the laptop, the screen stays black, and there is no response from the system. I suspect a corrupted BIOS.

I have checked the forum and the available documentation but could not find a solution specific to my issue.
