Opening J808 was only to remove the vcc from the main power supply ic, you can resolder it if you like. Yes dp803 is in the gate drive circuit for the pfc mosfet. so it is ok, so it could be that the pfc drive ic is bad? if it has all the correct voltages and it is not outputting a drive signal for the pfc mosfet, it could be that the ic is bad.

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
