Samsung Syncmaster T220 problem

Hi.

New problem with monitor Samsung Syncmaster T220.

Monitor works fine for months, it is used monitor.

Today is start to show brightness and is adjusted to 100 with not pressing any right side buttons.

Picture also goes black for 0.5 seconds every 5 seconds.

Probably need to check power board caps?

Any experience with this problem?

Use the SEARCH▼ above, there are lots of threads on this model, and it IS likely bad capacitors.

Hi.

To open this monitor is nightmare.
I check capacitors are OK.
I can not found any problem about OSD display issue here.

maybe something is jammed in the buttons?

I also check this option, jammed buttons.
No any switch was jammed. One switch was a little tired when i compare to others.
I replace this switch. Multimeter readings show no any problem with switch.
The most important was pcb cleaning i think.

But still monitor housing need to be open, some service manuals should be used for opening this housing with
14 hidden clips.
Horrible Samsung monitor, easy to assemble almost impossible to disassemble without damaging the clips.

No any bad capacitor was in power board, all OK.

I found some manuals to help to open this housing.
Not so easy to open like picture show.


I check monitor for 3 hours with open back cover, no faults was present.
Now when monitor is assembled the fault is back, blinking back light, some OSD problem again, brigthness goes to 100.

Still not solved.
