Hey guys, is there any guide covering the subject? I got few iMac A1418 eDP LCD's some of them cracked glass and working and 2 whole, but no display (backlight ok) I guess it's worth trying to mess around the eeprom's.

Is EDID stored in SPI memory and somehow interfaced to i2c or there is i2c memory module I cannot find? in EC?

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

Here I have the mentioned tablet with motherboard s6000-mb-h401. The tablet won't turn on, no display, charging normally. I manage to connect to UART port and got this output when I try to start it:

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi, i have an hp probook 440 g8 with a bios password, i did my search and find a tool to erase the password (here : https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...probook+440+g8) But i don't know how to read or flash the bios. I also don't have an eeprom programmer but i have a raspberry pi 4b and some arduino. If really it's not possible what eeprom programmer is compatible ? thanks for your help! Hello guys i really need help, i recently updated my DS-7208HGHI-K1 and it somehow got bricked, I've got it up and working now by flashing a new dump file i found but the serial number is really wrong and the uploader of the dump file probably intentionally did it.
I still have the bricked dump file is it possible to transfer the serial number of the "bricked dump" to the "working dump"?
