    New problem with E151FPp

I have repaired 3 of these with help from the forums. But this last one has a problem I have not ran into with any other monitor.

The CCFL's light and LCD displays an image.

Here is the problem. It looks like a strobe light flashing very fast.

I have tried unplugging each CCFL and each one still strobes.

Any idea's?. Thanks in advance. Jacob

    Re: New problem with E151FPp

Never mind I'm not going to fool with this board. I forgot I had another one with a cracked LCD. I just swapped boards and fired it up.

I have many boards that I can't find posts about on bad caps. Most I have been able to repair with knowledge gained from other posts.

Would it be a good idea to take detailed pictures of each board I repair and start a thread called. "Board archive" or something to that effect?. It may not be needed but sometimes I would like to know what a board looks like before I open up the monitor. Just a though. Jacob

OK... never mind my previous never mind.

I have to many monitors in my workshop. I got confused on what LCD I posted about.

      Problem still persists..
Flickers, or strobes constantly. But still shows a picture and never shuts off.

Havent seen this one myself, but as I know you can put your hands on other inverters to swap, (that at least would eliminate Inverter)
They use 2 inverters in this model
        Delta dac 12b062
        Ambit T501028.00
Also COMPAQ tft 5015, model pe1212 use these inverters (and poss other Compaq's)
        This may help

I will keep on the lookout for one, Very good idea, Do you think it would be OK to use a totally different inverter to check the back lights?. Or would this not be what I'm looking for. Are you saying to swap inverters to test the main board?. Or to test CCFL'S. Thanks Bobdee, Jacob

Not so, try a swap on inverter to see if problem goes away, if it does inverter is problem
As you have unpluged CCFLs one at a time and problem stays then I doubt that its your CCFLs
as for swapping any inverter I would wait for Equevarae he the one for that, if you can find one of the ones I sugested earlier then they will do
if inverter same when swapped then power supply needs looking at

Thinking on the above, if top pair was unpluged and was the same,
and you done same with bottom pair then that should eliminate Inverter and CCFLs
              (not my day)

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                3. Problem: TV shuts down

                i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

                Lenovo T580 - LCD Panel problem - error 0288
                by perzyk23
                Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....

                Dell 15R-5521 keyboard problem (KBC?)
                by SDNarcia
Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.

                As additional information,...
