    Dell 2408wfp no image

Just came into possession of this monitor. When powered on and connected (to a PC on DVI) I only get an empty screen.

The backlight is working and so is the PIP function but no image is displayed at all, not even the input indicator icon that normally appears on the top left. Pressing the menu button similarly has no effect. Also while in this state it may take a few presses of the power button to turn the monitor off.

Before I crack it open - any general thoughts? From what I gather it appears likely to be a tcon issue.

I've got 2408WFPb with the same problem. Backlight comes on, power LED is green but the screen is blank. No OSD.
    The voltages on T-con seem to OK (1.8V at IC19, 3.3V at IC21, 2.5V at IC7 & IC9, 15.15V at CC20..CC24).
The delay when turning off is also present - it might indicate a problem on the main board (unless the T-con communication is bi-directional).
