Hi Folks
New here.
I don't have much experience with displays mainly PC's Laptops etc.
I have a HANNS-G HG24DPB with a strange problem.
1) I disconnect the vga from the monitor while pc is on, or pc is turned off before the monitor which causes a problem with the monitor.
If the above steps are carried out when I reconnect the vga while the monitor is on or I boot up the pc and then turn on the monitor it will take up to 2 hours for the display to show the vga pc image. During this time their is a light hissing noise a bit like caps charging and discharging.
In other words if their is a live vga signal to the monitor the above happens.
Monitor works fine when I turn it on before the pc so switched on (before the vga signal reaches the monitor).
Could this be a vga card problem in the monitor?
This was tested on 3 different pc's same results.
Hope all that makes sense!!!!
Regards,
xrad
