    Westinghouse l1928nv

    Hello All,

I recently acquired a Westinghouse l1928nv monitor. Some smuck previously
tried and failed to repair the power supply board. When they replaced some
caps with 470uf/25v even if they weren't that value to begin with. Maybe thats all they had access to? I want to install the correct value cap in this area instead. Maybe someone on this site knows the correct value caps in the area that I've highlighted in a red box? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks As Always,
    Lcdman

    Hello Again,

I haven't heard any one come forward with any assistance. Perhaps someone knows where to get a free service manual for this monitor using this power supply board.

    Take Care,
    Lcdman

Can you post some pictures of *your* board - front and back, please. I think I see some labels under the black connector on the right. That could possibly give you the voltages this monitor produces, so then we can pick the right caps.

No, I don't have this power board, but if we know the output voltages, we can choose new caps according to that. Monitor PSUs are not awfully picky about capacitance, as long as you get it above a certain minimum.
