Morning Guys,
Finally having got my monitor apart i find absolutely no sign whatsoever of capacitor degradation or any cooked transistors - However one of the contacts to transformer PT202 seems a tad cooked and on close inspection there is next to no solder on the printed side of the board presumably it has been cooked away.
Any ideas or help much appreciated

PS. My monitor illuminates for about 2 seconds - screen goes to black and the blue light stays on constant but does not flash.
