    APM4546 replacement for LG L1953-PM

I have a LCD L1953-PM that died on me. I opened it up and I found a bad capacitor in the power board. I also found that there was a short circuit between 12V and GND, So I disassembled the components one-by-one to see where the short circuit was. The components I disassembled were: (C201, C202, C203, C204, C205, C206, C207, R202, R109, R111, D201, T101, ZD101, U303).

Finally I found that the short circuit was in U303 = APM4546 (Dual Enhancement Mode MOSFET, N-and P-Channel). I searched for it in the local supplier and didn't find it.

So my question is, are there any substitutes in the IRF, cause when I searched I couldn't find any 30V 8A dual mosfet, only 30V with lower ampere? so my next question is, is it possible to put two mosfet one N channel and another P channel instead of dual channel mosfet?
I greatly appreciate your help! thanks!

Also should I test anything else before proceeding with changing the mosfet, thanks again!

I think this one FDS8958A is close enough to APM4546K according to the specs.

      Thank you for reply.

But I think this one not available in my region too! Here are some MOSFETs available in my local store.

I think the best option available for me is two separated MOSFET, if this option is possible.

Yes, that should work fine. Just make sure you do all of the G, D, and S connections right .

It may also be a good idea to make sure your new MOSFETs are heatsinked properly. That DIP-8 APM4546 relies on its leads and the copper board traces to cool off.
