    need help Board start only when its hot ??

    Hi @ all
    i have machine and some problems with it...

    the board is from a machine and has a typical problem..
    sometimes it starts and sometimes not..

    allways when i heat the the board with a heater gun it starts.

    ive tried many things ... but i didnt find out whats the reason..

    Pic 1 is the whole board in top view

    Pic 2 is the whole board groung view

    Pic 3 is the a part of board (power supply 13V + 2x 5V)
    mostly i heat this part of board an it works

    Pic 4 is the same part of board in bigger view

    pic 5 is the ground view of this part of board in bigger view


    so maybe someone has some informations for me please because iam also a newbie in this and dont know all parts..

    can someone find any thermic elements on this board ?
    is the lc244a on pic 5 maybee a reason ???

                          1- pic3 U101 badly soldered. 2-Should be localized using a thin nozzle for heat gun

                              Mosfet u101 is reworked now---> same problem...

                              But

                              Today ive desolderd bga in pic 1 and the board start aswell without any heating process.

                              It seems that the problem is by bga ..its a via but wich one ?
                              Is someone able to tell me the correct type of it ??
                              I cant find this bga on google or somewhere else....

                              I works in combination with the bga on pic 2 via cx700 ....

                                  I have to cancel my last post , also the same problem without bga ....
                                  It seem to be a thermal problem...

                                          I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

                                          Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

                                          I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

                                          The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

                                          With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Problem

                                          This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

                                          Hello,

                                          I'm Working on replacing an Inductor on this Dell's board and I need to come up with a compatible replacement. As much as I would like to smash a comparable 2R2 in the same spot I'd like to confirm the specs before confirming a killed board. For my purposes I'd be happy with a second opinion on the replacement inductor or the actual schematics/board view. As this is a commonly used Dell Rugged in my local service area, schematics would greatly help in the future.
