    AOC F22+ weird symptoms

    Hi!

I have here an AOC F22+ monitor that powers up but doesn't display a picture for a while. First it starts with displaying a couple of horizontal dotted lines then it springs up to life. From time to time the lines show but it generally works after that.

I disassembled the screen and the caps look OK. They used Elite ED caps:
    1x 1000uF 25V
    1x 22uF 50V
    2x 680uF 25V
    1x 1000uF 16V
    1x 470uF 16V

What could be the problem, if not the caps?

    Cheers,
    SainT

Please can you update your profile with country and voltage so we know what we are dealing with. good clear pictures of boards would help. If that 22uf 50v is on the primary
/hot side it may be the start up cap. Elite are not aptly named.

Ok think C908 is the start up cap - the small one just behind the BIG one is it the 50v
22 uf ?? - May not be a power problem at all what you can do is try heating the caps before switching on to see if it makes any difference.
Does the delay start occur if when its on you switch it off and back on again.

There is a lead from the main board to the panel lvds Can you remove clean ( if its a flat ribbon type) and reseat. It could also be voltage regulators on the main board
Can you post a picture of that

To pre-heat the caps, I'd have to bring a hair dryer from home :-) I'll try switching it off and back on again after it's been on for a while.

Flat cable to the LCD can be removed no problem.

UPDATE: turned the monitor on and off just fine three times in a row. After the 4th time, it wouldn't display anything anymore just very very thin lines, barely visible. Maybe it's not the power board after all.

Pic is a little too blurred I can only suggest you try some new caps on it or at least the one at the top right.
If you can get at them when it is powered up you could try and monitor the voltage on it
to see if it changes when the picture changes

                samsung ue46c6000 weird alternating lines
                by Mohammed Mecegguem
                Hello,

I encountered an issue with my TV long before noticing a pattern of alternating red lines. Initially, I replaced the T-Con board, but the problem persisted. After a year, I decided to open the TV again and found some oil leaks around the CPU, RAMs, and LVDS FPC connector, likely from the thermal pads. I reconnected the LVDS connector but still faced the same issue with the alternating lines.

At first, I thought the LVDS cable might be loose. I inspected the cable, found no damage, cleaned the connector, and reconnected it, but the issue remained. This led me to...

                Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                by jeyoung12
                Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

                Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
                by Rubenlily
                Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
                by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
