Which was? We need to remember that others read these threads and so try to be specific with the answers or replies please.

Basically, you can put them in either connection as long as the input voltage (thick wire) and the return wire (thin wire) are in the same order.

In fact its funny because I had a 2 seconds to black problem 2 days ago with an HP. And I simply switched the plug-in connections. And it's worked ever since.

Sorry My post was on the wrong place so here is the answer from the wrong place and from "budm" :

You have 4 individual lamps, two for the top side of the screen, two for the Bottom side of the screen. Color does not matter if the pair for the top lamps go, Pink can go to into P403, Blue can go to P404, or reverse since the two lamps are not tied together inside the lamp assembly other wise I will not be able to test the inverter circuit.

            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Acer K272HUL blue power light but black screen, power supply is ok
            by burntonnerings
Have had two Acer K272HUL monitors die with the same symptoms:

            - Blue power light is illuminated while the monitor is plugged in
            - Black screen (no splash screen, etc.)
            - Power button doesn't do anything

Opened it up and checked for bad caps and components, evidence of burns, etc. - everything looks fine.

            Power supply voltages are fine.

There are some signal lines on the power supply harness that goes from the power supply to the logic board, not sure what these should be at.

            Anyone have any ideas?...
