    VA2226W cycling colors on screen

When plugged in this monitor will immediately start cycling through solid colors on the screen. Alternating every couple of seconds between blue, green, red, white, and grey. I have read that there is a color test mode that can be exited by pressing a certain button combination when powering on but there seems to be no way of escaping this in this monitor.
I'm not sure that the color test is the problem since the unit starts cycling immediately after plugging in the power cable without pressing the power button. Also I can not turn the unit off with the power button. The osd is also not responsive.
I have examined the boards and do not see anything that would indicate a bad component. Pictures are available below. I dont know if this screen will be repairable, it may be a failed logic board. But I thought I would ask here before throwing it out.

Hook it up to a working computer and turn it on. I had a 17" that was doing the test pattern and that was what got it to come out of it.

Thanks, I got it working. Turns out that the osd was locked as well as the power button. I held up + #1 to unlock the power button and down + #2 to unlock the osd. I was then able to reset everything from the osd and it is working fine. I guess I never had to take it apart in the first place.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
        by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

        Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
        by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

Vizio TV M50-C1 reboot cycle and static on screen
        by spice_disc
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...

ipad pro 9.7" blew a SMD component while replacing the screen 🤦‍♂️
        by ipatch
i have an ipad pro 9.7" (1st gen) A1674 where i replaced the screen, but never attached the screen to the frame/chassis (glued down) due to the ipad being previously dropped so the new screen would never fit in the frame properly. so i need flex/bend the chassis to eventually fix the new screen in properly. so i temporarily just applied blue tape around the edges of the screen to keep it in place. when watching videos with the ipad the screen started flicker, so i though maybe the new quasi cheap amz screen i purchased was going out. so i disconnected then reconnected with power still on,...

Trouble to identify part (Lunii screen) for replacement
        by FreakyMex
Hello guys. I'm a complete noob in electronics. I'd like to repair my child Lunii's (a "story box"), basically an audio player that allows the childs to choose between several options the places, characters, objects of the story, and then play a story according to the choice of the child. There is a screen that display the selected option before each choice. The Lunii fell and the screen is now broken.
I'd like to repair it (probably just have to change the part, because the lunii still works perfectly fine) but I can't manage to identify the part/order it online. Do you have any...
