But Post 50 Shows a voltage of 4.98 volts on THe 14.5v pin ,even though thats wrong, it does show that the SMPS is producing output,and the thing works somewhat when he inadvertenly shorted 2 pins together on the Schottky,He needs to trace the 5V line back from 6 &7 back to the Caps that filter it, and change them, and those two diodes need changing,D604 &605.

I believed the pin numbering he assigned to the pins caused the confusion and I also believed the measurements could be in AC.

Anyway, I have noticed something that I suppose may put this repair thread in unchartered waters. The inverter transformer is not the original specs. Original part number should be TMS91429CT at 1.2kOhm (+/- 3%). This one has TMS92903CT at 1.6kOhm.

maybe you are correct ref the transformer,but that should not affect the regulated 5v, and he needs to find that,and then see where he is ref the inverter tfmr.

Right now I am using my 940n... Shorted pins 2 and 3 on the schotky, kept it pluged in and assembled it. Everything works and I can even turn it off and then on when ever I want.

I am focusing on fixing my P2350. Thanks for everything. I just dont wont to frustrate myself with this one since I have P2350 which is a lot better then 940n
