Re: Acer AL2216W Resistor ID
Hmmm .....
ILPI-033 resistor R816 should be 100Ohm 5% (brown/black/brown/gold). Hope that helps.

Re: IP-24135A power board parts ID Samsung 510n
Hmmm .....
No longer have the board. According to my old notes, C111 + C112 should be 680uf 25v (originally Capxon KM). Nichicon HE was a nice replacments for these.

Re: Samsung 940n wont turn on
Hmmm ...
I believed the pin numbering he assigned to the pins caused the confusion and I also believed the measurements could be in AC.
Anyway, I have noticed something that I suppose may put this repair thread in unchartered waters. The inverter transformer is not the original specs. Original part number should be TMS91429CT at 1.2kOhm (+/- 3%). This one has TMS92903CT at 1.6kOhm.

Re: Samsung 940n wont turn on
Hmmm .....
Pardon me for jumping in ..... but the readings in post #10 doesn't make any sense to me ... does it make sense to anyone who understands the FSDM0465 smps controller? I'm expecting 12v on pin3 and 311v on pin6 and pin5 is supposed to be N.C. unless I'm not reading it right .....

Re: benq FP71Gplus monitor repair cant find problem
Hmmm .....
1. Read https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12701 for pointers ...
2. Recommend to replace all secondary caps now rather than later
3. Check picofuse PF801
4. Check Q808, Q809, Q815, Q816 for shorts (2sc5707). Must replace in pairs if shorted.
5. Check Q805, Q812 for shorts (FU9024)
6. Check (& resolder) C824, C826
7. Clean and resolder T801, T802, T803, T804Re: benq FP71Gplus monitor repair

Re: Westinghouse LCM-22W2
Hmmm ....
1. Some pics of the board top & bottom?
2. Should be a Delta DAC19M009 ?
3. Try a flashlight to see if faint desktop image can be seen ?
4. Check fuse F200 ?
5. Check if secondary voltages appears and is within range ?
6. Check mosfet U202 & U203 for shorts ?

Re: Samsung 245BW - Quick diagnosis
Hmmm .....
Maybe a tiny dab of super glue for the crack? Test to see whether that exposed pin goes to pin 1 (vss ground) or pin 30 (+ Clock Input)? Maybe you want to try patching it up (the bents) the best you can? Finally once the super glue sets in, see if it still works plugged-in?
Looking at the pics, I'd probably give it a shot ... but I guess that's your call ...

Re: samsung syncmaster 510n not optimum mode
Hmmm .....
Does your 510n uses the novatek NT68F63 IC ? If yes then try the (47 or 50 Ohm) resistor hack at pin 5-6.

Those are Elite capacitors, all those secondary caps should first be replaced.

Re: HP 2509M Monitor - no display
Hmmm .....
I was thinking that perhaps you may want to see if it's true that poor solder joints on the tubes is causing the dark left thing. If the tubes themselves are still good then some cleanup and re-soldering should do it. If it really is the tube, well, it's still your call .....
I've done quite a number of ccfls replacement and it helps to calm oneself (relax, deep breaths, meditate, whatever) before attempting it.

Re: Dell Monitor blinking LED
Hmmm .....
This has so many revisions and yet they have the same common issue.
If my memory isn't that fuzzy :
- Check/replace Q739, Q740, Q759, Q760, Q743, Q751
- Resolder T751, T752, T753, T754
- Replace all secondary caps

I believe the same symptom is being discussed here:

If that's true, you'll have to take a peek at the ccfls now ...Re: HP 2509M Monitor - no display<br...87<br />

Re: lp2407 aka fpd2485W No Power
Hmmm .....
I'm making simple assumptions here. Assuming your unit is crossing over 5 years old or more, replacing all secondary capacitors now is highly recommended. Caps does not have to be swollen/domed to be borked.
Those linear regulators can get borked by many reasons and one of it is out-of-specs capacitors on the secondary. Wouldn't want those newly regulators to get borked again in a few months ..... hmmm?
Based on your regulator output lists above, I'd say chip 3 and chip 4 are way off the mark...

Re: Viewsonic VX2235WM - blank screen on/off
Hmmm .....
Pardon me for butting in ...
Seems to be another apparent case of 2secs-to-black. Kindly take a peek at the sticky post #19 : https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10419
1. If you're not equipped to check out the ESR then replace all the secondary caps irregardless. Caps does not have to be swollen/domed to be borked.
2. Look under the PCB for Q905+Q906 and Q911+Q912. These are N channel and P channel mosfets. Test 'em out based on the sticky above....

Re: DCLLCD DCL7A - quick flash of the back lights only
Hmmm .....
Pardon me for butting in ...
Rtech is spot on for noting the differences in readings between Q6/Q7 with Q11/Q12.
This is a royer circuit. Those Q6+Q7 or Q11+Q12 is a Rohm part 2sc4672 (available from Digikey). The way the circuit is interlinked, if Q11 is shorted, Q12 readings will also be affected (and vice-versa). The only way to confirm is to test off-circuit.
Also while you're at it, check the tuning polycap tolerance. If its out-of-specs, that new transistor...
