I bet that thing is not worth fixing.

But we'd like to see the inside, see what 'noname' caps it has!

funny you are the only one who caught on!
i will open it up and post the insides.
problem was 4 22@16 sm caps on the old rage 2c in the system.
monitor is fine.but the symptom looked so much like a projection tv with bad stk's i just had to do it.
the monitor is a noname 1440x900. sometimes they are fussy to get set up.
