    Samsung 245B diagonal lines Problem

    Hello guys,
i recently bought a Samsung 245B TFT display, that was offered as defective and without any function.

When i opened it, i was surprised because all internal plugs connecting the boards had been disconnected. No wonder why nothing at all worked anymore.

I measured RB805 which is one of the most well-known problems on this display. And well, mine was defective, too. I changed it, plugged all cables together and fired it up.

Well it works again, but: There are diagonal lines going from down left to up right. They are best seen on white backgrounds. I tried to get them with a foto.

It does not matter, if i change the resolution or the refresh rate - the lines can always be seen. I can also see them when windows is booting, so it should not be a driver problem. I think the only difference is that they become stronger and weaker sometimes.

Does anyone have any idea what that could be? I consider recapping all the boards, but i have no idea, if that would bring a solution to my problem.

Hmm, If I stay at the screen too long, I can see those.

But, I suspect it could be some ripple somewhere...

Have you found any bulged capacitors?

No bulged caps yet, but from my experience they could be dead though... I think i will have a further look at them.

        Samsung UN55JU650DF network/streaming problem
        by howardc64
Fixed a 9 year old UN55JU650 by replacing backlight. Original backlight LED was still working after 27k! hours but terrible picture of course. Few LEDs were out, 5-6 lens fell off (bright white spots) and another few popped off with slightest force. Surviving LEDs were all slightly blue so picture has a blue tint.

        Hello again everyone,

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

Hi I need help with a Samsung un43nu7100 BN94-13191C/BN41-02635A with boot loop problem even with tcon jumper.
I've already try tape method and same happen, if I disconnect both flex from mainboard to panel tv boots normal even I hear Samsung sound.
When I solder jumper to make t-con work with or without panel or panel cables connected it still reboot or power cycling.
What I noticed is that there's no voltage in VHG, HAVDD, PANEL_3.3V, AVDD_17V or 12v near dc-dc chip.

Samsung UE70TU7020K Which lines to tape on a bad panel
        by learnmore
        Hello Community,

        I'm working on a Samsung UE70TU7020K.

It looks like a bad panel. There is only 1 FPC cable from the Tcon (built into mainboard) to the panel.

I'm using a piece of tap a few mils (covers about 8-10 pins), at different locations and have had varying results but nothing that is remotely watchable (multiple lines across all the screen, half screen and total black out on screen). The buffer board is divided into 3 boards. I've disconnected the end board one at a time but each time the screen was totally black. I presume it's because the potential...
