Anyone have any idea of what could cause this? They boot up and display a bright screen but the only way to get them to display a picture is to manually use a specific driver for the monitor with an Nvidia Quadro card. And one of them has a slight flicker. I'm about to open them up and take a look.

by flat-eartherI was doing a large print job with my HP Deskjet F4180, and after about 50 pages the printer stopped in the middle of a page and the black ink light started flashing.
So I went to refill the black ink cartridge with a syringe, but found out it still had a lot of ink.
I tried to print a page again but every time it would print only a bit of the page and immediately stop with the black ink light flashing again.
I tried two other black ink cartridges, and the problem still endured, so I knew this problem had to be with the printer itself.

by samstownHello folks,
One day my Startech HDD SATA docking stopped working, instead of buying a new one I want to repair it. I've measure PCB and I think U10 is a mosfet and the culprit but I don't know what chip to order to repalce it.
Thanks

by Roman555Bad symptoms when Ivy Bridge CPU (3rd-gen 22nm) is installed:
- Won't boot OS (just blank screen or stucks at asus logo, monitor is turned on) with hangs at debug (post) code A3;
- USB stick with MS-DOS can be loaded via F8 boot menu;
- Other OSes won't load - hangs or goes reboot;
- Postponed for several seconds reaction to Alt-Ctrl-Del, Reset and Power buttons;
- An operating system starts loading but won't finish if it's left only 1 CPU core in BIOS settings;
- Cleared CMOS many times;
- Flashed different versions of BIOS in a CH341 programmer;
- Updated

by spike3333Hello,
I have a T3610 Precision workstation that recently stopped working properly. When the power button is pushed, the number 3 light turns amber and then goes out, then the power button turns white and stays on through the boot. At 3 seconds, the number 3 & 4 light come on and stay on for 8 seconds. Then the number 4 light goes out. Two seconds later the 1 & 2 light also come on (now 1,2 & 3 are on). 1 second later, light number 1 goes out and number 4 comes on. Then light 3 & 4 go out and then 1 & 3 come on (now 1,2 & 3 are on). This is how it remains....08-05-2023, 02:09 PM -
by RayblasterHello friends, I've got a nice toy to play with - it is an HP RP7800 All-in-one POS system. I got it for free and it has one problem - it turns on very rarely, and just for a few seconds. After that it dies and doesn't come on if I don't leave it unplugged for at least 2 hours. I've repaired motherboards before, this is not my first one, but problem with these types of faults is that everything you check on the board will usually be fine. This is the case for me here.
I dissassembled it completely, and got my hands on the motherboard. Model No. is PIQ67H/Higgins 11047-I 48.3GD02.011.... - Loading...
