    Hello, I'd like some suggerstions please.
    The above monitor obviously has a hardware problem. When connected to a desktop, the power light is on green (indicating a signal is being received). A dim screen display will appear perfectly rendered for less than a second and then goes completely blank. If the unit is then turned off at the power and on again after a few seconds the display will again appear briefly.
    I have connected the screen to 2 different PCs and the same fault is in evidence.
    I am reluctant to put it in for recycling and buy a new one when it seems most of the unit is working fine.
    Suggestions please?

      From the description,the problem is certainly on the PSU/Inverter Board PROVIDED that the Lamps themselves are ok.Your first task is to open the unit,take some photos and attach,using the manage attachments section under 'Go Advanced' below.
      You may well spot bulging capacitors as soon as you inspect the board.

          I have dealt with a few of these and as long as the lamps are ok
          i usually find that a full cap replacement sorts them out ,
          the caps may well look ok but are low quality .
          Also i would resolder the transformers too .
          But as Rtech said open it up and post pics in case yours is using a different type of psu

              Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

              My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

              This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

              Hi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
              I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

              I'm trying to fix this laptop screen

              Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!

              We have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14IAH8 - Type 83BF for repair. The original issue the OLED screen is blank.

              We have replaced the OLED screen with the exact model, also we replaced the LCD cable, but no luck.

              I think there is something with the motherboard. I don't really have experience with OLED screens so far, so not sure how it should work. I have seen some laptop comes with a separate controller board, but this model does not.

              Also, there is an error in Windows device manager - This device cannot start (Code 10) - Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller...

              I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
