Ok It seem like most of the green 220u CAPS are tied to the B+ CAP circuit I''m testing. Is that possible?

Is there anyway I could get the schematic for this board? It says a BENQ L1E01 A02

Well, I do not know what other method you can use to find out where the B+ feeding that point comes.

Ok, I started testing the B+ on the CAP to the outlined components and many of them test 0 when connected. I thought there would only be only one?

@retiredcaps - thanks - will watch it tomorrow when the two cells are fresher.
I didnt mean distracted on the initial recognition - you said later that you
would have to look up the datasheets. Anyway having got them are his measurements of them within spec?

Since I couldn't read the part numbers, I took a guess based on its packaging.

I attach the datasheets as despite everyones efforts I still dont know what they mean.

NO , we are looking for direct connection with less than one Ohm resistance, just think of it like looking for another end of the wire, but in this case, it is the copper traces on the board.

Ok so when I connect to each of the devices in the outlined section does it matter what leg? + or -

Thats correct and the all check out at 0 ohm including + end of CAP.

I think its just the last 4 pins at that end of the connector that are usually the power.

OK please bare with me, I'm not sure how to check this. I hooked up the DMM in OHM mode with the monitor off to each one of the pins and the other end on the FUSE and most of them read 0.

0.34V at the T-CON fuse, means the T-CON is not getting the voltage for it to run.
Please verify of what I think the connections are.
We need to find that switched transistor that supplies the B+ to the T-CON fuse.

BTW is this considered a white screen? Only the backlight is on.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
    by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Dell 2408 - No OSD or input menu
    by Aezakmi
    Hello,

A few days ago my Dell 2408 has stopped to working without any noticeable sign.
It can be power on, power light stays green, backlight works but there is no OSD, menu input, Dell logo etc. It happens if there is some input source connected or not.
I disassembled the case but I didn't see any failures on the board. The only element that looked suspicious was L6561 - there was some brown dirt under it. So I replaced this IC but it changed nothing.

What else should I checked or is this repair even possible/worthwhile?

    Thank you for your c...

Dell Latitude 5420 does not start (no post) need help to find the reason why
    by F R 2568
    Hello all,

this is my first post, so if I make mistakes please do not hesitate to point them out, thank you in advance.

I got a Dell Latitude 5420 (Service Tag: 7RFM6D3, Motherboard: GDF40 LA-491P Rev.: 2.0 (A01)) which does not start and I want to repair it. These are the symptoms:

If the laptop is only connected to the AC adapter (battery removed):

When I press the power button, the keyboard backlight and the display backlight are turning on. Caps key light is lightning, but key does not respond to pressing it.

    The power/battery...

    Looking for Dell Latitude 5520 / 5530 / 5540 RJ45 network connector replacement
    by diamon
I have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.

Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.
