Re: Inverter tester using old CFL
Haha, well I wasn't thinking of putting that UV in my monitor. I was just wondering if the Dells inverter would fire it up. I already have some CFL (twisted bulbs) to use, but that UV tube one already has proper wires attached.
I know my video board needs caps, and my psu is probably still OK although should get news caps for the heck of it anyway, but I don't know if the inverter is OK or not. I don't even know how to remove the CCFL's. I was thinking about testing them on one of my Inverters I have for custom PC use, if that will work but I don't know. Either way I need to verify that the inverter and CCFL's are OK before I plan to fix anything else.
