Re: Samsung 912N Problem
Hi all,
A quick update on my 912N project...I replaced the dual channel mosfet on the logic card this weekend, and it is still not working properly. The problem persists in that, with no pc connected, I get a steady green indicator light, and the 'Check Signal' box moves around the screen freely and does not turn off, albeit the box does not appear uniform (see photo above) but then once I attach the pc video source, using several different cables, the video goes completely dark. The difference is now, since replacing the mosfet on the video card, I can get the Check Signal box to appear for a few seconds first.
I'm thinking that on the inverter board, there is a mosfet hidden on the underside of a smaller circuit board. Hopefully tonight I can post photos of the inverter board, and at that time I would like to ask the group if they recommend me to remove the little attached circuit card and test the mosfet under it.
Thanks as always.
