Re: I-Inc IF281D Display Problem
What you're showing is the power supply. The inverter is the board that generates the high voltage for the backlighting. In your third photo, it appears to be the board at the very top with all the transformers on it.

Re: I-Inc IF281D Display Problem
Please post a photo of the entire inverter board. A overhead shot is preferred because that allows us to see all the components. And take your photos as if you're asked to read the printing on the board itself. Your previous photos of the printing at an angle and sideways makes for akward viewing.Last edited by jetadm123; 01-07-2012, 02:50 PM.Leave a comment:

I-Inc IF281D Display Problem
Hi all I'm new here and while searching for internet for possible solutions to my problem i noticed this great forum and thought i would ask for any advice that might help me solve this issue.
I have an I-Inc 28inch monitor that has a display/power problem. One day while i was at the office i tried turning the monitor on and was working fine for about a minute or so until it shut itself down. I turned the monitor back on again and this time it shut down in about 20secs, a third time and it shut down almost immediately. I tried different power cables and different inputs but get the same result.
I called the manufacturer who promptly told me the monitor is out of warranty and could not help me. So instead of trashing this nice monitor i was hoping to repair it. Any advice would be appreciated =).Tags: None

by AskicHello to all,
I have a problem with monitor that is delivered together with CCTV system.
The monitor appears to be completely dead, there is no LED power diode and it doesn't react to pressed power button.
I have disconnect display and check many components on the power supply part of the board. There is no anything obvious and monitor is about 3 years old. There are no bulged caps. When measuring voltages on the output connector to VGA board I can measure stable 14.5 V on 12V pins and stable 5.07V on 5V pins. So I assumed that this part of the board is OK....-

by CptChronicI have an intermittent display problem with my monitor, when I plug in the HDMI cable to my (or any) laptop, you see the connection screen shrink on the laptop as it usually would before displaying on the monitor but 95% of the time the monitor display stays black.
Before it cut out all together, tapping the monitor control button a fair few times would make the screen display, and everything work fine.
But now it never does it. Not sure what's going on, hoping someone can help. I'm capable of stripping the thing down and soldering in new parts if needed, or programming...-

by tmhobadcapI have a few successful experience in fixing tv backlight problem. But for monitor, I have no experience. However, I think they are more or less the same. Am I correct?
Recently, I got the captioned monitor and the owner said it could not be turned on. I open it up and found that one of the SMT capacitors seemed to be bad. I replaced it as well as the other one. The monitor still could not be turned on.
I found the power indicator is on. When I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can see the image. Therefore, I think it is with backlight problem. I took out the led strip....-

by RolinI have a Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05H 81y6003yUS that someone asked me to help them with a failing SSD. I installed a new SSD, fresh Win11 installation, updates, etc. Very standard stuff and everything was completed. He said he'll pick it up in a few days so I shut it down and set it aside.
A few days later came and now it won't POST an image, keyboard lights up, fans spin then shuts itself off after about 40 seconds. I've already tried the typical draining capacitance and removed CMOS battery, etc. No display on an external HDMI monitor as well.. No idea what happened. Suspected a BIOS... - Loading...
