Hi Bill sorry for the delay in getting the photo to you.. the original pic is 4000x2256 it is sharp and clear but clearly too big as an attachment.

Hope this pic is good enough for you.. if not let me know

    Thanks

Nope, doesn't work. The contrast is better, but it's too small to be useful for me. It appears they are using both 5V and 12V to regulate voltage the output??? Check the resistor just below U201, R206?

Here's my suggestion. Vueprint Pro is now free. Use that to crop the original picture and if necessary, reduce the size. When you download it , don't forget to make a note of the serial number (15551888) to run it.

For a number of reasons, both health and personal, I will no longer be active on this board. Any PMs asking for assistance will be ignored.

Just got this display, same symptoms. The Samxons GF seem to be somewhat like KZG for Chemi-Con - low price, barely hold spec'd lifetime. Ideal for dispaly manufacturers.

I found no but input fuse so the current is definitelly not broken anywhere. FETs and diodes seem to be fine. Output voltage with no load is 4,9 and 16,84 V.

At this moment it looks either like too nasty output voltage for the data board, or the board is bad itself. Will keep you informed.

ADD// data board is the cause, no voltage output when it is connected; to be precise, PSU runs for half a second and than probably goes into some protection mode (but it is completely silent)

After this step the PSU does not run even withotu the data board. There is optocoupler between PSU and inverter part so I think it has some feedback from there making the PSU part go into safe mode when the inverter is not running.

Photo of that yellowed part is attached as well as the data board.

Requesting Help For GA-970A-DS3 rev. 1.0, No Post code, no RSMRST# signal
            by AstutePauciloquent
Hi everyone, over the past few months i have taken a deep dive into motherboard diagnostics and I love the challenge. Currently im trying to learn all about the signals that travel around the motherboard, such as frequencies, enable signals High and Low logic states etc. And i have been learning to read and using the Schematics for this board that i requested here on Badcaps forum, from a few months ago, this is such a great place for these.

I’ve been working on a GA-970A-DS3 (rev. 1.0) that does not post. This motherboard has been my main learning board. I would like share...

Diagnosing South Bridge (FH82H370) on Asus H370-Pro Gaming Motherboard
            by Ross Kohler
            Hi,

I'm learning about motherboard repair and I believe I've traced the issue down for the South Bridge on the particular motherboard I'm working on. My path of concluding that:
            - There's no sign of any attempt to power on when pushing the power button.
            - No PSON signal is reaching the 24-pin ATX connector.
            - The Super IO chip is receiving the PS_SWITCH signal from the power button and is relaying this signal back to the South Bridge.
            - The Super IO is not receiving the S_SLPS#_R signal back from the South Bridge
            - If I pull the Super IO S_SLPS#_R pin...

            Samsung TV UN75NU7100/Power Board BN44-00874C
            by Larrob19
            Hello,

I have a Samsung power board BN 44–00 874C that is dead. I have looked for a schematic but no such luck. I opened it up and found two Mosfets burnt QP801CS and QP802CS, also the main fuse. I replaced them and checked the two blue capacitors in front of them. They both tested good. I checked the Diode on the same heat sink and the two capacitors in front and they checked out OK. I plugged it in again and that blew the fuse and the Mosfets the second time. I plugging it in again hooked to a 100 W watt light bulb. The light bulb starting started flashing off and on. I checked...

            LG Flatron L1910S DEAD
            by thetonywarren
I have a LG Flatron L1910S that is dead, no led's no backlight nothing.......I took off the back and took a look at the caps, all appear to be good, although I know that's not a true test......I took voltage readings at CW301, Without the main board connected, Im getting 5vdc and 14vdc, WITH the main board connected, Im getting 4.13vdc and 16vdc. Please see pictures for details, I think the attached diagram is correct for the SMPS. Any thoughts or suggestions where to look next....I can send better pictures and take measurements if needed.

Thanks in advance for any help. ...

How can I be sure that my EC chip is dead?
            by double_DD
            Hi all,

As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?

I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.

Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard...
