    Atlantis Land 17" LCD monitor

It's a long time since I repaired something and last Friday I received 17" LCD dead monitor, the brand was AtlantisLand model A05-17AM-C04.
The power led worked correctly, blinking red when the monitor was without input signal, green with input signal, but there were not images on the screen.
I found the 2.25A fuse blown on the inverter board, I replaced it with a 2.5A and the monitor start to working correctly.

As I read on some threads that Nkcon are not good caps, I replaced the 2 caps 56uF 25V on the inverter board with 2 Sanyo OS-CON 100uF 16V, they were the only good caps I had with the same size of Nkcon.
On the logic board I replaced only two caps NCKN 470uF 16V with 2 Panny 470uF 25V FM.

Here some pictures of my work.
Tomorrow I will check the replaced caps and I will post here what I measure.

    Ciao

Re: Atlantis Land 17" LCD monitor

Today I have measured the replaced cap:

    56uF 25V is 38.2uF 4.4Ohm
    56uF 25V is 42uF 2.38Ohm

    470uF 16V is 395uF 0.21Ohm
    470uF 16V is 379uF 0.224hm

The 2 caps (56uF 25V) on the inverter board were bad, that explains why the fuse was blown.
I'm surprised to find such bad caps on TDK inverter.

    Ciao
